The CarrerasPathfinders program is new a world-wide unique doctoral program that covers the entire spectrum of research and innovation in blood cancers, from understanding disease biology to the implementation of novel processes in the clinical practice, designed and hosted by the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC).
The aim of the program is to support 14 excellent Doctoral Candidates (DCs) over a period of 48 months. During this period, the selected researchers will engage in pre-selected research projects under the supervision of IJC research group and scientific platform leaders and conduct international secondments to academic and non-academic institutions. The DCs will be enrolled in PhD programs at either the University of Barcelona (UB) or the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
Eligible PhD candidates should not have a doctoral degree at the date of their recruitment, must be entitled to enrol in a doctoral program, and should not have resided in Spain for more than 12 months in the last 3 years prior to the call deadline.
